EJ Quintet
The quintet, consisting of trumpet, tenor sax, guitar, bass and drums, explores the modern jazz format. The EJ
Quintet recorded a record for the Fresh Sound/New Talent label which was released in September of 2003, featuring Matt Otto
and John Ellis on tenor saxophones, Ben Monder on guitar, Alexis Cuadrado on bass and Mark Ferber on drums.
Subway Strings
This group, a string quartet with trumpet, was originally formed to play the music for a collaboration with the tapfusion
dance company in a piece about the NY subway. Since then, Erik has been inspired to continue composing for this challenging
instrumentation.
